Our Approach:

The Tommy Mitchell Incentive Award is a one year grant given to local students to help further their education.  Applications for the award are distributed through our local high school guidance offices.  They are also available at the Binghamton Senators office for the hockey applications and at the Binghamton Mets office for the baseball/softball applications.  Applicants must complete and return the appropriate forms by the required date. Each applicant will be interviewed by our selection committee.  Various guidelines are used to help us choose recipients who we feel are of great character, are all around persons, and will be successful representatives of the Broome Sports Foundation.
